Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Who We Are

These terms govern all purchases from StackCrateCo (“we”, “us”) through www.stackcrateco.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Products & Condition Grades

We sell new (“one-trip”) and used shipping containers, container-based structures, and accessories. Used containers are sold by industry condition grade (e.g. Cargo-Worthy, Wind & Water Tight, As-Is) as stated on each product page. Photos of used units are representative of grade unless marked as photos of the actual unit; cosmetic appearance (paint color, surface rust, dents) varies. 3. Orders & Acceptance

Your order is accepted when we send written confirmation. We may decline or cancel orders for stock errors, pricing errors, or suspected fraud; in those cases you receive a full refund within 5–10 business days.

4. Pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice, but the price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay. Delivery is quoted separately and confirmed in writing before payment. Obvious pricing errors do not bind us; if we cancel for a pricing error you receive a full refund.

5. Delivery & Risk

Delivery is per our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Title and risk pass to you on completed delivery. You are responsible for providing safe, legal access to the delivery site and any permits your municipality requires for container placement.

6. Returns & Warranty

Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. New one-trip containers carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty against leaks; Cargo-Worthy and WWT used units carry a 90-day leak-free guarantee. Warranty covers repair or replacement at our option and excludes damage caused after delivery, modification, or improper site placement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of business, or site costs.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in St. Clair County, Illinois, after a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter directly with us.
